We are students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who have collaborated with Junior Achievement of South Florida to create and manage a business focusing on driver safety around our community.
Our Story
How We Began:
As part of our Hospitality program at school, the senior class comes together to create a student run company that addresses an issue we are passionate about in our community. This year, we conducted research on the probability of a road emergency occurring to any of our members and how prepared they would be to handle this situation properly.
Our research sparked the idea of offering a driver safety program for all types of drivers, new and experienced. We built our comprehensive safety kit based on the most common situations, and Steer Clear was born.
